Nicole Salach, DO
Pediatric Nephrologist
Dr. Nicole Salach is a pediatric nephrologist within the Division of Nephrology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Salach completed a residency at Children's Hospital University of Illinois in Chicago. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric nephrology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Her clinical interests include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and lupus nephritis.
Dr. Nicole Salach is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Society of Pediatric Nephrology. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences.
The Division of Nephrology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital provides comprehensive evaluation of renal function and treats kidney disorders in children, including congenital anomalies of the urinary tract, electrolyte imbalance, renal parenchyma diseases, tubular diseases and collagen vascular diseases. The pediatric nephrology program also performs kidney biopsies and offers a full spectrum of dialysis services for patients with acute renal failure, including hemodialysis, acute and chronic peritoneal dialysis and continuous arteriovenous hemofiltration.
